Of all the things going down for New Year’s Eve in Chicago, the Windy City Soul Club should be on your list of things to do. These usually go down at the Empty Bottle on Western Ave, but in order to accommodate the masses they’re holding it at the Logan Square Auditorium. These parties specialize in classic and rare, funk and soul songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s; perfect for dancing the night away into a new year. I’ve been to a couple of these and they’re always a great time, 18+ to party and tickets are still available for $15 ($20 @ door), click the link below to cop your’s now.

The Windy City Soul Club will once again inhabit the Empty Bottle in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood tomorrow. These events cater in 50s, 60s, and 70s funk & soul resulting in consistent good times. The Nomad’s “Dead Disco” dance night is the only thing that compares in Minneapolis, but for Chicagoans these can be considered a main event. Call that girl/guy you’ve been thinking about taking out and make sure to be ready to dance, these are 21+ and cover is only $5, no pre-sale tickets so make sure to get there early.
