Watch The Full-Length Trailer For ‘Life’ With Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds

There were a lot of raise-your-eyebrow commercials at this year’s Super Bowl, and sadly they were much more memorable than any of the traditional, so-called “hilarious” Super Bowl entries. The most controversial entries was the lengthy 84 Lumber commercial where mother and daughter encounter a giant concrete wall on the US border, and the American Petroleum Institutes praise-spot for Big Oil. In addition to the barrage of propagandized TV spots and beer commercials were a number of upcoming blockbuster movie trailers. Among them were those for The Fate of the Furious, Baywatch, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, John Wick: Chapter 2, and Transformers: The Last Knight. The most impressive movie trailer, however, came from up-and-coming director Daniel Espinosa‘s Life with Jake Gyllenhaal (Prisoners, Nightcrawler), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, The Girl on the Train), and Ryan Reynolds (Waiting, Safe House). ‘Batman Vs Superman’ Continues To Break Box-Office Records

DC Comic‘s latest big screen endeavor, Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, from director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen), is continuing to do incredibly well at the domestic and international box office, despite the terrible reviews from critics, and a pretty decent body of fans. The film has grossed more than $420 million worldwide, but it’s not the enormous success that should have fans and studio execs worried, its what lies ahead that could be potentially hazardous. The problem is that DC and the production studios royally fucked up in terms of their plan to unveil their Justice League movies. Unlike Marvel, who succeeded in introducing all of the Avengers characters in film-worthy, individual projects, DC left Batman vs Superman, not only with the task of serving as a sequel to Man of Steel (2013), but also of introducing the other Justice League characters, including Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). New Trailer For ‘Suicide Squad’ Revealed At Comic-Con

A new trailer for the highly anticipated Suicide Squad movie was revealed at Comic-Con this year. Featuring an all-star cast, including Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street, Focus) as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney (Divergent, A Good Day To Die Hard), Scott Eastwood (Fury, The Longest Ride), Will Smith (Independence Day, Men in Black), Joel Kinneman (Safe House, RoboCop), and Adam Beach (Flags of Our Fathers, Joe Dirt), the film follows a group of criminals (insane criminals at that) that are recruited by the government to act as a special operations unit in exchange for commuted prison sentences. David Ayer (Training Day, End of Watch) directed the project from his own adapted screenplay based on John Ostrander’s comic series. Two other big names in the DC Comic world will also appear in the film: Ben Affleck will bring his new Batman character from the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice to the film, and Oscar-winner Jared Leto will take up the role of the Joker, who you will see in the last few seconds of the trailer. Enjoy, and stay tuned for further news. Suicide Squad is expected in theaters in August 2016.

‘Self/Less’ And ‘The Gallows’ Opening In Theaters This July 10th

Movie-goers will have plenty of choices when it comes to suspense in this week’s new releases. First up is the new dramatic thriller Self/Less from director Tarsem Singh (Immortals, Mirror Mirror), starring Sir Ben Kingsley (Schindler’s List, Shutter Island) and Ryan Reynolds (Safe-House, Woman in Gold). The film comes from screenwriting brothers David and Alex Pastor (Carriers, The Last Days) and also stars Natalie Martinez (End of Watch, Broken City) and Matthew Goode (Watchmen, The Imitation Game). You can watch the trailer above. Also coming out this week is a new horror flick, The Gallows, following a group of high school students who attempt to pay tribute to a horrific accident that took place at the school 20 years earlier, only to find the spirits of those dead still remain in the shadows. I’m sure you have already seen a bunch of previews for this one on TV, and while it entails new subject matter, it looks essentially like a Blair Witch Project meets Michael Myers mix, with relatively unknown actors and producers. That being said, this is the kind of movie you should definitely watch in the theaters for the full effect, so find yourself a date and enjoy!

As smartwatches continue to gain in popularity, more and more companies are trying to create something that its consumers can enjoy and rely on. With the Michael Bastian design paired with the engineering of HP – the two have joined forces to make something potentially worth while. Being an owner of a smartphone who happens to wear a watch on a daily basis, this watch has gained my attention. The MB Chronowing Smartwatch appears as a everyday watch with a genuine alligator band, yet functions as a smartwatch.

The MB Smartwatch connects Apple and Droid users to access email, calendar, texts, live streams, and sports scores  Some more perks about the watch, is that it has a battery life that lasts up to a week and is water resistant up to 50 meters. If you think it’s worth it for MB’s latest watch ($350), It is going on sale November 7th and only 300 will be available for purchase (for now).
