New Trailer For Upcoming Tupac Biopic ‘All Eyez On Me’ Now Available

The first trailer for the upcoming Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me is now available online. Co-written by Ed Gonzalez (Creating a Convincing Cop Story, Street Kings 2: Motor City) and Jeremy Haft (Grizzly Mountain, Empire), the film chronicles Tupac’s life from his childhood to the night of him untimely and highly controversial death that coincided with the murder of rival rapper Notorious B.I.G. six months later. Starring in the lead as Shakur is Demetrius Shipp Jr., who is making his debut appearance. Appearing in the supporting cast are The Walking Dead co-stars Danai Gurira (Mother of George, The Visitor), and Lauren Cohan (The Boy, Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice), as well as Kat Graham (Addicted, The Vampire Diaries), and Jamal Woolard as Biggie Smalls/Notorious. You might recognize Woolard from a previous biopic; the actor also portrayed Biggie in the 2009 biopic Notorious from director George Tillman Jr. All Eyez On Me is expected in theaters this November 11th, but we’ll definitely be seeing some additional trailers coming out soon. Check Your Local Listings For This Week’s Limited Releases

Along with Papa Hemingway in Cuba, there are some great limited releases hitting theaters this weekend. First off is a new drama from actor-turned-director Jason Bateman (Arrested Development, Horrible Bosses), Nicole Kidman (Eyes Wide Shut, The Interpreter), Christopher Walken (Pulp Fiction, Catch Me If You Can), and Catherine Hahn (Step Brothers, Parks and Recreation) titled The Family Fang, which is based on the book by Kevin Wilson. The film follows a brother and sister as they return home in search of their famous parents, who have gone missing. Seems fairly promising, but you can be the judge.

Next up is an Italian film titled The Wait (L’attesa) from director Piero Messina (La Porta, Terra) and starring internationally known actress Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Godzilla) about a mother who unexpectedly meets her future daughter-in-law at a villa in Sicily and waits with her for her son to arrive, concealing some dark secret the entire time. New Comedy ‘The Boss’ Opening In Theaters This Friday

Comedy power-couple Melissa McCarthy (The Heat, Spy) and writer/director Ben Falcone (Bridesmaids, Enough Said) will be back on big screens this Friday with a new comedy called The Boss. The two co-wrote the screenplay with longtime collaborator Steve Mallory (Tammy, Identity Thief) about an industry titan who is sent to prison for insider training and runs into some old colleagues who haven’t so quickly forgotten how she screwed them over. Starring alongside McCarthy are actors Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Frozen), Peter Dinklage (The Station Agent, Game of Thrones), Ella Anderson (The Giant Mechanical Man, Unfinished Business), Tyler Labine (Tucker and Dale vs Evil, Rise of the Planet of the Apes), and Kathy Bates (Misery, Titanic). Although McCarthy comedies tend to be either hit or miss, this one will still make a fun date night for the weekend, so see it on the big screen starting this Friday, April 8th.

‘Batman Vs Superman’ Continues To Break Box-Office Records

DC Comic‘s latest big screen endeavor, Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, from director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen), is continuing to do incredibly well at the domestic and international box office, despite the terrible reviews from critics, and a pretty decent body of fans. The film has grossed more than $420 million worldwide, but it’s not the enormous success that should have fans and studio execs worried, its what lies ahead that could be potentially hazardous. The problem is that DC and the production studios royally fucked up in terms of their plan to unveil their Justice League movies. Unlike Marvel, who succeeded in introducing all of the Avengers characters in film-worthy, individual projects, DC left Batman vs Superman, not only with the task of serving as a sequel to Man of Steel (2013), but also of introducing the other Justice League characters, including Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). First Trailer For ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ Now Available

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens finally opening in theaters this week, movie-goers are starting to look to the New Year to get their blockbuster fix. Over the last week we have seen new, full-length trailers for Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and X-Men: Apocalypse, which will bring the comic-movie circuit back to life after the Star Wars bubble finally bursts. This week, however, we have a new trailer for another sequel we have been keeping our eyes on, in the form of Independence Day: Resurgence. Original ID director Roland Emmerich (The Day After Tomorrow, 2012) is back with returning veteran actors Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Bill Pullman (Spaceballs, Lake Placid), Vivica A. Fox (Juwanna Mann, Kill Bill Vol. 1), and Oscar-winner Judd Hirsch (Ordinary People, A Beautiful Mind), leading a new generation of actors including Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games, Paranoia), Joey King (Crazy Stupid Love, The Conjuring), Maika Monroe (Labor Day, It Follows), and William Fichtner (Heat, Black Hawk Down). Picking up 20 years after the events of the original film, we find scientist David Levinson (Goldblum) and former President James Whitmore (Pullman) facing a new insurgence of alien visitors that will test the world’s new defense systems that were developed using the technology of the original invaders. Unfortunately for fans of the original, Will Smith will not be reprising his role, and instead the plot will focus on a new-generation fighter pilot (played by Hemsworth) named Morrison, but other than that the rest of the story looks (on the surface) pretty legitimate. As always, we’ll have to wait for the final product to know for sure. Stay tuned for further updates.

First Full-Length Trailer For Bryan Singer’s ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Now Available

Last week we caught the first full length trailer for DC Comics’ upcoming Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. This week, however, Marvel has just rolled out a new trailer for Bryan Singer‘s new (and potentially last) installment in the X-Men film series, subtitled Apocalypse. The film follows the new timeline that was established at the conclusion of Days of Future Past, and finds the young generation of X-Men facing an ancient mutant known as Apocalypse, who has the power to destroy civilization as we know it. Original X-Men director Bryan Singer, who also directed X2: X-Men United and Days of Future Past, returned to direct and co-write the screenplay with Simon Kinberg (X-Men: The Last Stand, Sherlock Holmes), along with help from Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris (X2: X-Men United, Superman Returns). Actors James McAvoy (Wanted, X-Men: First Class), Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs, Macbeth), Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle), and Nicholas Hoult (About A Boy, Mad Max: Fury Road) are all returning to reprise their roles from Days of Future Past, and will be joined on screen by newcomers Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones, Barely Lethal), Tye Sheridan (Mud, The Tree of Life), Rose Byrne (Get Him To The Greek, Neighbors), who is reprising her role as CIA agent Moira MacTaggert from Days of Future Past, and Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis, A Most Violent Year) in the role of Apocalypse. The film is expected out in theaters Memorial Day weekend 2016. Enjoy the trailer here on MADE.

New Full Length Trailer For ‘Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Now Available

Last week fans were able to catch a sneak peak at a scene from the upcoming Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, due out in March 2016. The film is the follow up to director Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel and the precursor to Warner Bros./DC Comics upcoming Justice League movie, which will follow the next year in 2017. Most of the supporting cast from Man of Steel will be reprising their roles, including Henry Cavill (Stardust, The Man From UNCLE) as Superman, Amy Adams (American Hustle, Big Eyes) as Lois Lane, Diane Lane (Unfaithful, Trumbo), and Michael Shannon (World Trade Center, Revolutionary Road), with newcomers Ben Affleck (Argo, The Town) as Batman, Gal Gadot (Fast Five, Furious 7), Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Conan the Barbarian), Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Zombieland), Holly Hunter (The Piano, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?), Jeremy Irons (The Man in the Iron Mask, Die Hard with a Vengeance), and Laurence Fishburne (Apocalypse Now, The Matrix) also joining the cast. The new trailer introduces the major players, including Eisenberg’s Lex Luther and a glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and also of the opposing relationship between Batman and Superman and the political storm surrounding crime in Metropolis and Gotham City. Check out the full trailer here on MADE, and as always, enjoy!

New Trailer Offers Sneak-Peak Footage For Upcoming ‘Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’

A new trailer has just been released for director Zack Snyder‘s upcoming Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film will be the follow up to Snyder’s Man of Steel (2013), with Henry Cavill (Stardust, The Man from UNCLE) and Oscar-nominee Amy Adams (American Hustle, Big Eyes) reprising their roles as Superman and Lois Lane, and introducing Ben Affleck (The Town, Argo) in the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne. Honestly, it already looks terrible, but I’ll let you judge for yourself. In preparation for Warner Bros/DC Comics big screen production of Justice League, which is expected in theaters in 2017, the film will also introduce Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7) in the role of Wonder Woman (with an independent Wonder Woman movie also expected in theaters in 2017) and Jason Momoa (Conan the Barbarian, Bullet in the Head) in the role of Aquaman. And yes, there will be an independent Aquaman movie coming out in 2018, along with The Flash, who will be played by Ezra Miller (We Need To Talk About Kevin, The Perks of Being A Wallflower) and may be making a brief appearance in this movie. In other words, once Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out, it’s right back to milking the comic books. Also staring in the film are Oscar-nominees Diane Lane (The Perfect Storm, Unfaithful), Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road, Boardwalk Empire), Jessie Eisenberg (The Social Network, Now You See Me), and Laurence Fishburne (Apocalypse Now, The Matrix), and Oscar-winners Holly Hunter (The Piano, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?) and Jeremy Irons (Reversal of Fortune, Die Hard with a Vengeance). Oscar-winning screenwriter Chris Terrio (Heights, Argo) and David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel) wrote the script that finds Batman and Superman at arms with each other while a more deadly force is steadily rising and Washington is up in arms about the presence of “super-heros” in our modern society. Considering Snyder is returning, and the impressive number of Oscar-winners working on the film, it will still more than likely be a pretty good movie. I don’t know who decided to hire Ben Affleck as Batman, but let’s just try our best to look passed it. Enjoy the footage.

Ryan Reynolds in full costume as Wade Wilson/Deadpool.

After a successful panel at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, we now have a full-length trailer for the upcoming comic-action movie Deadpool, which unlike many of the comic films these days, will be rated R. The film stars Ryan Reynolds (Green Lantern, Self/less) in the title role of Wade Wilson/Deadpool, a former Special Forces operative who undergoes an unconventional experiment that provides him with accelerated tissue regeneration (like a Frankenstein version of Wolverine) and vows to seek out those who nearly took his life. Director Tim Miller (Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Mass Effect 2) helmed the project from a script by writing-team Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland, The Joe Schmo Show). Starring alongside Reynolds are actors T.J. Miller (Big Hero 6, Silicon Valley), Gina Carano (Haywire, Fast & Furious 6), Brianna Hildebrand (Prism, First Girl I Loved), Morena Baccarin (Homeland, Spy), and Ed Skrein (Game of Thrones, The Transporter Refueled). The movie is expected to open in theaters in February 2016. Check out the new trailer at the link below, which aired on Conan this week, and stay tuned for more forthcoming news!
