This last Thursday, we were in attendance for the CRAM Vol.2 Release show, at Triple Rock Social Club. CRAM was joined by Mike The Martyr, Nazeem & Spencer Joles, Denim Matriarch and a other few special guests. As CRAM set fire to the stage, each song was built with energy, pumping up the crowd like a methodical crescendo. If you couldn’t make it out, take a look at a few pics below and stay on the lookout for more performances by the above artists.

CRAM – Lifeline Ft. Nazeem & Spencer Joles

The boys from CRAM have been awfully busy as of late, but it seems they’ve found some time to gift us all with a new single from off their upcoming project. Titled “Lifeline,” the Shrimpnose produced record provides a sparring ground for each artist to flash their own styles. Songs with this many artists usually feel manufactured, but “Lifeline” has a way of feeling organic, this might be a testament to their growing chemistry. Spencer & Nazeem seem with at home laying down bars for days, we’re sure you’ll see this one performed tomorrow at the Triple Rock. Check out “Lifeline” for yourself above and keep an eye out for more from CRAM.

All City Vol. 2

cover

Although the first installment of the All City series may have been more expansive, All City Vol. 2 takes a larger look at Minneapolis & Chicago’s hip hop scenes, while still incorporating a few other national artists. 2014 has been a great year for music in both Chicago & Minneapolis, with a lot of creativity brewing in the Mid-West. All City Vol. 2 takes some of our favorites from Chicago, Minneapolis and other cities across the nation. Check out the compilation below and keep an eye out for the All City feature.

Places + Faces Vol. 2

About a month ago, Places + Faces dropped the 2nd volume to their ongoing series. Just like the name reads, the video features places and faces, both of which may be familiar to you as you watch. Among those captured include model Sarah Snyder, IloveMakonnen, Black Dave and Travi$ Scott, everywhere from Paris, London and New York City. The visual is kind of thrown together, but it’s an interesting watch; check it out above and keep an eye out for more.
