BMW recently introduced the brand new design to their 1 series BMW. The model will be available in both the 3 door and 5 door options. Whether you are a fan or not, I personally find this smaller 326hp twin-turbo hatchback to be one sexy car. Aside from it’s small body and powerful engine, the new BMW will have a variety of technologically advanced features: assistant parallel parking, rain sensors, auto AC, LED lights and a radar based cruise control (to name a few).
Alpina has always been at the top of the aftermarket game. It appears they’ve done it again with the 2014 BMW Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo, boasting 410 hp and a straight-six 3 liter engine with duo turbochargers; this thing flies. 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds, the car can top 190mph just in case you’re late for work. These should hit showrooms in spring of 2014 if you’ve got an extra $78,000 lying around.
Earlier this week we posted new pictures of the new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet and now we’ve got a dope video of the car in motion. Peep the above video which features some cool cinematography and of course the 911 Turbo shredding some insane roadways.
Porsche continues it’s 50th year anniversary since the release of the original 911 with an announcement that they’ll be releasing the 2014 Turbo S in Cabriolet form. This bad boy will retail at $194,000 and will come equipped with a 3.8L flat-six engine which boast around 560 horses. That power allows the vehicle to post a top speed of 197MPH hitting 62MPH in just 3 seconds. If you’re in the market for a new whip and have an extra $200,000 lying around, hit up your local Porsche dealer to pre-order.
Thursday night seems to be the winner in movie openings this summer. Pacific Rim and The Wolverine both opened to huge box office pulls during their Thursday night openings this July, and now the new action flick with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg has joined the list, earning $1.3 million in North American ticket sales. Still at the top of the box office list for this week is The Conjuring, Despicable Me 2, and Turbo. The Smurfs 2 also comes out this weekend. 2 Guns is expected to gross a total of $20 million in North America this opening weekend.
