Indeed Brewing has always been supportive of the Twin Cities’ music scene sponsoring and even throwing a wide variety of events every year. Their upcoming event at Icehouse features an amazing lineup in Black Diet, PHO, and Ayvah. The show will serve as a reunion for Black Diet, who ruled the local festival circuit and critic’s picks lists between 2014-2015. PHO has established itself as a band that never disappoints, and Ayvah is one of the Twin Cities’ more promising up and coming artists. Anyone in attendance will enjoy heavy doses of soul, funk and R&B, from 3 great live performers. This one is 21+ and the tickets are available in advance for only $10 ($15 @ door), click the link below to buy yours now before this one sells out.
Towards the end of the month, the kids from Good Luck Finding Iris will hold the release party for their EP “Patience” at Public Functionary. The event will feature performances from two of our personal favorites in Radio Ahlee and Shrimpnose, but will also feature Joz and Wulfchild. This one is all ages and tickets are still available for only $8. If you know like we know, you’ll cop your tickets sooner rather than later, click the link below to buy yours now.

Miami’s own Lil Pump will be live at First Avenue next Monday. The young artist is one of hip hop’s more controversial in recent years, the youth touts him as a new age star; while older generations regard him as a detriment to the culture as a whole. No matter your opinion on the subject, Pump has arguably one of the hottest songs of the year in “Gucci Gang,” and he continues to thrive as an independent artist. The Twin Cities’ own Devon Reason will open up the night, rounding out what should be a fun show. Tickets for this show are already SOLD OUT, so if you’re dying to go you’ll have to surf social media, try craigslist, or deal with scalpers. Good luck.

Whether for good or bad, Kid Cudi has been in and out of the spotlight over the last year; most notably with his recent return to music with Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’. The Ohio born artist continues to hold a strong following across the world with many of his fans/peers citing his work as influential in their own personal lives. His latest album, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’, is a return to a comfort zone to some, but many also point out the project’s experimental nature. Cudi has always been one to push the boundaries, sometimes to fan’s dismay, but this album feels like the right blend of experimentation and his quintessential sound. This show is all ages and tickets are still available for $40; if you want to avoid the younger crowds you can buy 21+ balcony tickets for $48.
