Noisey’s Atlanta documentary Welcome To The Trap ends with episode 10. Thomas Morton and crew end their trip hanging with Peewee Longway, one of Atlanta’s fastest rising up and comers. The stories about Peewee and his track record on the city’s West side are endless, the episode further validates his tight grip over Atlanta’s street scene. A new atmosphere is emerging in the A, parts of it expand upon older sounds, but others are straight out of left field. From Peewee Longway, to The Migos, to ILoveMakonnen, to Father, to Young Thug, to Young Scooter, one can’t deny the diversity. As we near the final episode of Noisey’s Atlanta based documentary, Welcome To The Trap, Thomas Morton meets up with a bunch of the city’s most promising producers. After featuring many of Atlanta’s up and coming rappers, Morton links up with TM88, Sonny Digital, Metro Boomin’, Zaytoven, Mike Will Made It, Southside, and Houston’s own Travi$ Scott; for a round table like discussion. Noisey’s “Welcome To The Trap” documentary continues with episode 4. During this segment, Thomas Morton re-unites with the ATL Twins, all before meeting up with Trouble of Atlanta’s Duck Tape Mob. The ATL Twins are definitely a pair of interesting characters, but the episode kind of trails off at times, especially during Thomas smoke session with Trouble. Noisey Atlanta: “Welcome To The Trap” Episode 2


Noisey is back with episode 2 of their “Welcome To The Trap” documentary, featuring Atlanta’s current hip hop scene. In the 1st episode, Thomas Morton kicked it with BMF’s Bleu Davinchi and Curtis Snow (Snow On Da Bluff), before meeting The Migos towards the end. In episode 2, he continues his meeting with The Migos with a sneak peak inside the “Bando Mansion”. The Migos might not be the most personable rappers, but the episode still holds some entertainment value throughout. Check it out above and make sure to stay tuned for episode 3.
