Chicago’s own Show You Suck will be headlining a show at the Chop Shop tonight. Brought to us by the good guys at Movers & Shakers, the bill for this show features more than a few familiar faces. Nick Astro, the WHOevers, Death by Icon and Legit will all be taking the stage with special guests Rich Jones and DJ RTC also in the building. This one’s only $10 for a night full of dope music, if you’re in the CHI, there’s no better place to be.
Chicago duo the WHOevers, released a dope track a couple of days ago commemorating the anniversary of J Dilla’s untimely passing. The remix to “Sooner or Later” is a nice showcase of both MCs lyrical abilities, they definitely served the beat well. Over the last week, Show You Suck has been hinting at the release of his visual for 80’s Boobs and it’s finally here. The track is off of Show’s most recent release, Dude Bro; produced by J. Arthur of The WHOevers, Show breezes through some of his favorite 80’s flicks over a lazy synth.
