This past Thursday night, we made our way over to Honey to help celebrate the homie Rich Garvey’s 29th birthday. The night, featured performances by: Rich Garvey himself, Chance York, The Rotation, K.Raydio, Phib, Blamsiss, DJ Low, Frank Castle, and Travis Gorman. On another busy night of music in Minneapolis, many packed the venue to help celebrate – which ended being one successful night. Many artists showed up with new music, so if you couldn’t attend, make sure to stay on the look out for more tunes. Meanwhile, flip through some pics below and stay locked for more to come.
First Avenue’s 7th Street Entry has been churning out good show after good show as of late and last weekend was no different. Manny Phesto, Baby Shel and The Rotation took over the side venue for what turned out to be a great night. Left Field and Why khaliq also took the stage while Frank Castle held down the 1s & 2s. Each artist put on a good show, but the evening reached it’s heights during The Rotation’s set and the final record under the “High Minds” moniker. Check out a few pictures from the show above and be on the look out for more.

It’s here ladies and gentlemen. The kid Finding Novyon recently released his new project #TheFoodNetwork for all of our listening pleasure. With a deafening buzz that has him facing a sold out show at the Hollywood Palladium alongside Big Sean and Mick Jenkins, Finding Novyon continues to ride the wave. Novy brings the energy right from the start on #TheFoodNetwork with Travis Gorman’s production at peak performance. With features from Allan Kingdom, Metasota, dylAn, Devon Reason, Dwynell Roland and a whole cast of co-productions; #TheFoodNetwork is a family affair. In my opinion this is Finding Novyon’s best work to date, he continues to progress with each new release and this time he’s really set himself apart from the pack. Peep #TheFoodNetwork below and make sure to check out the official music video for “Lots.”

Dwynell Roland (The Rotation) took to Twitter last night to drop a track titled “Snipes.” After throwing down at this year’s SXSW, one can only wonder what’s next for Dwynell and The Rotation. Produced by Travis Gorman, “Snipes” finds Roland well within his comfort zone, the instrumental fitting his style well. With the summer sitting right around the corner, you can expect a lot more from Dwynell Roland and The Rotation; consider “Snipes” as something to hold you over. Peep the song below and be on the look out for more.
