With Fall upon us, everyone’s trying to make the most out of every day. With August going down as one of the years best months, September is beginning to look the same. After making a few small appearances on stage following his kidney transplant, P.O.S will headline “The Fucking Best Show Ever”, marking what can be expected as his official return. The lineup for this event is stacked with performances from Poliça, Busdriver, SZA, LE1F, Allan Kingdom, Open Mike Eagle and ZULUZULUU; rounding out what’s looking like a great show. Minneapolis continues it’s hot streak of awesome outdoor festivals and block parties, keep it locked for more info and click the link below for tickets ($10).
A few hours ago “Childs Play” was released for all of our listening pleasures. This track starts out with a relaxed beat laced with SZA’s vocals. About halfway through it coasts right into Chance’s verse and eventually flows into their harmonies around the 2:30 mark to make for one complete track. Hopefully we see more collaborations like this one in the near future.
Chicago spitter Auggie The 9th took to Twitter earlier today to release a remix to SZA’s track “Teen Spirit”. Auggie definitely brings the heat on this one, with a fervent flow that commands attention; Auggie seems to have surely found his groove. The L.O.D affiliate will be headlining a loft party next weekend (22nd), if you’re in Chicago you should definitely keep an eye out for that and more from Auggie.
