Look For New George Lazenby Documentary ‘Becoming Bond’ On Hulu This May

A new documentary centered around the youngest actor to portray British agent James Bond 007 (and for only one film) is coming to Hulu this May 20th. George Lazenby, a car salesman from Australia, famously conned his way into the role by going to meet with producer Albert R. Broccoli, securing an audition by claiming he had acting experience in his native Australia, which wasn’t true. He was, however, able to pull off an audition that was good enough to convince fellow producer Harry Saltzman of his worthiness for the part, and thus On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969) became the first Bond film without original actor Sean Connery appearing in the title role. Although audiences and critics had mixed reviews upon its release, OHMSS has, over the years, became one of the more favored entries in the Bond franchise. Incidentally, Lazenby is also the only actor to have received major recognition for his portrayal of the character, earning a Golden Globe nomination in 1970 for Most Promising Newcomer/Best New Star. 24th James Bond Film ‘Spectre’ Now Playing In Theaters Nationwide

Fans of the James Bond film franchise will once again get to see Daniel Craig (Casino Royale, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) grace the screen as the infamous British Secret Service agent. Spectre is the first release in the series since 2012’s Skyfall, and is once again being directed by Oscar-winning Skyfall and American Beauty director Sam Mendes. Spectre will see the character of Bond return to his roots, as he embarks on a mission to uncover the top secret criminal organization known as SPECTRE, while M fights struggles to keep the British government from dismantling the Secret Service. This is the same criminal organization that the character faced in the Sean Connery films, and first appeared in the Bond novels by author Ian Fleming. Skyfall writers John Logan, Neal Purvis, and Robert Wade penned the script for the new film with screenwriter Jez Butterworth (Get On Up, Edge of Tomorrow). Daniel Craig will be returning to reprise the role of Bond in his fourth appearance as the character, and this may very well be the last time fans have an opportunity to see Craig in the role on the big screen, as he has stated several times that he may not return for a fifth film. Returning to the supporting cast are actors Ralph Fiennes (The English Patient, The Constant Gardener), Ben Whishaw (I’m Not There, Cloud Atlas), and Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest), with newcomers Christoph Waltz (Inglorious Basterds, Big Eyes), Lea Seydoux (Blue is the Warmest Color, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Monica Bellucci (The Matrix Reloaded, The Passion of the Christ), and Dave Bautista (Riddick, Guardians of the Galaxy). Google to Create Streaming TV Service

Google is in the proccess create their own TV service to be streamed through broadband connection. Ultimately, they would like to be competition to Time Warner or Comcast, the evil giants of TV. We all know Google has taken a stab at their own internet service (gigabit fiber networks), which is by far better than anything on the market. It only makes sense that the next step for the guys at Google is to package a TV service with their blazingly fast internet. While they have been negotiating with other companies for their distributor options, expect a Google Fiber/Google TV package in select cities in the near future.
