Allan Kingdom has been a tad quiet since returning from his first national tour, but all of that changed yesterday with the release of his new video “Fables.” The record originated on Allan’s most recent project, Northern Lights; with a feature from Jamaican artist Chronixx, it was an early favorite. No matter how far back you go, Allan K’s visuals have always been on point, the possibilities are limitless now that he has more resources at his helm. A crisp, refreshing video that complements the record well, check it out for yourself above and be on the look out for more from Allan Kingdom.

The last couple of weeks have been insane for new music in the Twin Cities. Of the many releases, Drelli’s new track “Exotic” takes the cake as Heat of The Week. Produced by Dro & Kwey, the record’s lush, sunny instrumental signals the warmer months ahead. Drelli and Allan both seem right at home on a record that strengthens both of their sounds, a sure winner for summer parties. We’ve been behind Drelli for awhile now so it’s definitely awesome to see the kid rising through the ranks. “Exotic” is a rooftop, boat life, late night lake chillin banger; hopefully this is just the beginning. Check out “Exotic” above and stay tuned for more from Drelli.

A few days back J. Plaza dropped a new heater by the name of “B.I.M.P.” Plaza has been grinding just as hard as anyone in the Twin Cities as of late releasing a slew of loose tracks and music videos. If you haven’t seen him making moves online then you’ve most likely seen his name on a bill or two over the last couple of weeks. On “B.I.M.P” Plaza shows of his versatility opening the record with a hook that’ll have any club rocking. As he transitions from his croon heavy first verse into his quick witted rhymes, one gets the feeling that J. Plaza is on the verge of something big. Check out “B.I.M.P” above and keep an eye out for more from J. Plaza.
The God Muja Messiah recently released a new track dubbed “Girl Scout Cookies.” Week 4 out of his 5 week release series, there aren’t many artists in the Twin Cities working as hard a Muja. The record’s instrumental has a west coast vibe that suits Muja’s laid back vocals well, the rolling bass line holds everything together as he slashes away line after line. One for the smokers, this track will definitely have your head bobbing. Check out “Girl Scout Cookies” above and keep an ear out for more from Muja Messiah.
