A week ago KOOL A.D. dropped WORD O.K. After a listen through, this funky track stands out this morning with the weather warming up and the sun beaming. “Hickory” features Talib Kweli and Boots Riley with production by Amaze 88. If your a fan of KOOL AD’s unorthodox wordplay blended with well thought out beats, check out more from WORD O.K.
After years of having Sirius Satellite Radio and listening to Sway In The Morning, this moment comes into mind as being one of the more memorable. Brother Ali stopped into the studio to freestyle over a bunch of random ass beats to complete the FIve Fingers of Death. Needless to say, he shut shit down. After hearing a bunch of rappers come through the studio and fumble around the FFOD, it was great to see a well rounded emcee like Ali walk through it like nothing happened.
