Earlier this year Prof took fellow Minnesotans Finding Novyon, Metasota, and Willie Wonka along for his “Time Bomb Tour.” The tour had a slew of dates bringing the artists all the way up the west coast, before hitting British Columbia and swinging back to Minneapolis. Minor set backs aside, the tour looks like it was a ton of fun, check out the recap for yourself above.

PROF’s Time Bomb Tour will wrap up tonight with it’s homecoming show at First Avenue. These guys have been through some crazy times during their trip (van burglary, van breakdown), so it’s nice to see them all back home in 1 piece. The event will also feature Metasota, Finding Novyon, Cashinova and Willie Wonka; we also have a suspicion that you’ll see a few special guests. This one is 18+ and tickets are still available for $20, click the link below to buy yours now before they sell out.
With tour season on the down swing, PROF, Finding Novyon, Metasota, and Willie Wonka are wrapping up their tour throughout most of the western U.S. A monster lineup that is sure to put on a good show in any given city on any given night, the “Time Bomb” tour is a great chance for out of state fans to get familiar. Check out the remaining dates above to see if they’re coming to your town or a town near you.
Mike The Martyr recently took to Twitter to re-post a track featuring none other than PROF. 2016 has started with a bang, a large variety of artists are churning out new material at a rate that’s unmatched across other markets. I’ve said this before, Mike The Martyr is one of my favorite rappers, his production is always on point, but i believe he really shines when he spits. Slick lines abound, PROF jumps in midway through to provide a solid verse of his own. Peep “East Lake” above and be on the look out for more from Mike The Martyr.

The Zombie Pub Crawl will once again transform Minneapolis into a zombie wasteland today. Over the years, Minneapolis’ zombie pub crawl has grown into one of the nation’s largest, with this year’s looking like the biggest ever. In addition to the participating bars (Sneaky Pete’s, Glueks, The Loft, The Fine Line, Imperial Room, 508, The Pourhouse and more.), there will be 2 stages with Juicy J and Steve Aoki headlining each respectively. Throughout the day you’ll also see performances from Rusko, Prof, Flavor Flav, Sugar Ray, Bobby Raps, BLVCK SPVCE, Denzel Curry, Deniro Farrar and many more. There will be a bunch of food on hand as well as a brain eating contest at some point, this year they’ll even attempt to reclaim the Guinness World Record for “Largest Zombie Gathering”. This event is 21+ (sorry kids) and tickets are still available for $30 or VIP for $80, this is definitely the place to be this Saturday; click the link below for tickets.

Hometown heroes, Atmosphere, will be headlining a show at First Avenue tonight. They’ve been on a roll since the release of their latest album “Southside” and with the super-success of Soundset 2014. The event will also feature Prof & Dem Atlas, rounding out what should be an amazing night for Minnesota hip hop. Unfortunately, tickets are already sold out for this one. If you absolutely can not miss it, your best bet is to check Craigslist/FB/Twitter.
After winning 2013’s “Best Concert Photographer” award, Adam DeGross continues doing what he does best. As we all know, Soundset 2014 was fuckin awesome. Amidst the drinks, blunts and whatever else people were taking; it’s great to have photographers like Adam who completely capture the best moments. For most the day was a blur, but thanks to Adam DeGross’ amazing work, you can relive the festival forever. Above you’ll see the likes of 2 Chains, Wiz Khalifa, Earl Sweatshirt, Prof and Nas among others. Click the link below for the full album.
