Last week Pivot Gang member Joseph Williams dropped a new track titled “Jelly.” Produced by Sev Seveer, the ominous instrumental crawls along allowing Joseph to deliver heavy handed punchlines left and right. Double and triple metaphors abound, Joseph Chilliam shows that he’s above a lot of his peers when it comes to lyricism. Some of the content has received mixed reviews but we find nothing wrong with the song, it’s actually pretty awesome. Check out “Jelly” above and stay tuned for more from Joseph Chilliams.

A couple of days ago, Chicago artist/producer Martin $ky dropped some heat for all of our listening pleasure. Entitled “Reach”, the self produced track plays ominously fitting Martin’s style to a T. The kid’s growth is evident as he continues to progress with each release leading up to his full length project. With a feature from PIVOT Gang’s Saba, the record is a force to be reckoned with; two hungry MCs showing exactly why they’ve been turning so many heads as of late. Check out “Reach” below and be on the look out for more from Martin $ky.

Spazz and Reelo just dropped a new track via Twitter entitled “This My Shit”. With a feature from Pivot Gang’s MFnMelo, the constant piano heavy instrumental allows for each artists to showcase themselves individually. Spazz jumps right in on the Danny Jamz produced beat, with a nice variety of flows and Reelo infuses some nice punchlines. Melo’s voice comes as a surprise at first, but he quickly makes himself home on the track with his own unique style. A dope collab from ASA & Pivot Gang’s MFnMelo, peep “This My Shit” below and keep it locked for more.

With the release of COMFORTzone coming this Spring, Saba is right on schedule with the new visual for his track “Secondhand Smoke”. Saba’s relentlessly fervent flow contrasts the lazy beat perfectly, with a hook that seems to lull you back to earth. Directed by Caves of Heart of The City, the visual is another nice addition to Saba’s steadily growing portfolio. Peep the visual above and keep an eye out for more from Saba as we get closer to COMFORTzone.
