Tonight fans of the legendary rock n roll band The Rolling Stones will get to see the band play at the Marcus Amphitheater Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI. The group was originally slated to appear in Chicago for their 2015 tour, but due to scheduling and location conflicts they had to move 90 minutes north to Milwaukee. That, however, didn’t stop iconic bluesman Buddy Guy, who just appeared at the Chicago Blues Fest, from opening for the group. Chicago fans will be making the trip this evening for the 8:00pm showtime. The show is part of the Stones’ Zip-Code Tour; they have thus far appeared in Pittsburgh, Nashville, Orlando, Dallas, Minneapolis, and Columbus, and still have dates set for Indianapolis, Kansas City, Detroit, and Buffalo. Rolling Stones fans can also catch the re-issue of their 1971 LP Sticky Fingers, featuring new unreleased material and studio out-takes, now available on iTunes, Spotify, Compact Disc or Vinyl. The album is regarded as one of the Rolling Stones best LPs, featuring songs like Brown Sugar and Wild Horses, and a cover photo that was originally conceived by iconic artist Andy Warhol; it is also the first album the Stones released to not feature founding member Brian Jones, who died in 1969 in his swimming pool shortly after being asked to leave the group due to his drug addiction, and subsequently the first LP to feature new member Mick Taylor on an entire album, and Mick Jagger playing acoustic and rhythm guitar. Pretty monumental for the Stones history, so be sure to check it out. Enjoy!

Final Installment In ‘The Hobbit’ Series Opens In Theaters This December

The third and final installment in Peter Jackson‘s new film trilogy The Hobbit is scheduled to open in theaters this December 17th. Subtitled The Battle of the Five Armies, the movie will close out the over-extended film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien‘s pre-Lord of the Rings adventure that follows the hobbit Bilbo Baggins after he is recruited by the wizard, Gandalf, to assist Thorin and his band of dwarfs in reclaiming a lost treasure from the ancient dragon Smaug. The first two installments were subtitled An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug, and brought back from Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy actors Ian McKellen (Gandalf-X2: X-Men United, The Da Vinci Code), Cate Blanchett (Galadriel-The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Elizabeth: The Golden Age), Orlando Bloom (Legolas-Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring), Christopher Lee (Saruman-Sleepy Hollow, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith), Hugo Weaving (Elrond-The Matrix, V for Vendetta), and Ian Holm (older Bilbo-Alien, The Fifth Element). Jackson adapted the screenplay for The Hobbit movies with returning Lord of the Rings collaborators Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens, and writer/director Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy). Some cinemas will be playing all three Hobbit films this holiday season to celebrate the Battle of the Five Armies release, and there are rumors flying around all over the web that a teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be played during the previews for The Hobbit. So if you are a fan of Jackson or Tolkien by all means go and catch the final film on the big screen this holiday season. You can watch the trailer right here on MADE.

Oscar Winner Javier Bardem May Be Taking Villain Role In ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean 5’

pirates-caribbean-5-release-date-2017

Javier Bardem seems to be gaining a reputation in Hollywood as the go-to movie villain. His portrayal of bounty hunter Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men won him an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2008, and he also brought the most originality to a James Bond villain in Skyfall (2012) than audiences have seen since perhaps Robert Davi portrayed drug-lord Franz Sanchez in License To Kill (1989) opposite Timothy Dalton. But now there is word from The Wrap that Bardem may be taking the villain role in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which will once again star Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Keith Richards as Jack’s father Captain Teague. Actors Geoffrey Rush and Orlando Bloom are also rumored to be returning to the franchise as Captain Barbosa and Will Turner, although this has not been officially confirmed. Bardem would be playing the ghost pirate Captain Brand, who is seeking a supernatural object that will aid him in his quest to get revenge on Sparrow for killing his brother. The new movie will be directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and is expected to begin filming this coming February in Australia (apparently after some reported incentives from the Australian government) and has received a new release date from Disney for July 7, 2017. That is still a very long way away, and even now Pirates of the Caribbean seems like a distant memory of the early 2000s, but maybe Disney will actually pull something decent out of their ever-growing well. I guess we’ll find out in a few years’ time.

Orlando Bloom May Reunite With Johnny Depp For ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean 5’

bloom

Although it has been confirmed that Johnny Depp will be reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow for a fifth (and hopefully final) installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and that Keith Richards will also return as Jack’s father Captain Teague, we haven’t really had anymore solid news on the project in terms of supporting cast members, at least until now! Recent reports indicate that original Pirates trilogy actor Orlando Bloom may reunite with Depp for the new project, which is being titled Dead Men Tell No Tales. The film will be directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and is currently set to hit theaters in July 2017. Bloom, who recently returned to his other famous role of Legolas in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, has been seen in a number of films outside of the Pirates and Lord of the Rings franchises, including Black Hawk Down (2001), Troy (2004), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), and The Three Musketeers (2011), the actor has never really struck a chord with critics and audiences outside of his two famous roles, so maybe stepping back into familiar territory is not such a bad idea. The film is still early in production at this point, with a recent bid from Australia for the filmmakers to shoot the project there, but nothing is set in stone yet, and with more than two years still to go until the release date, I can’t imagine anything being rushed this early on, so we’ll just do what we do and keep our ears open for now.

The Wolf of Wall Street, Secret Life of Walter Mitty In Theaters Christmas Day

hobbit

This December has already seen a swarm of new movies, and it’s not even Christmas day yet! Earlier in the month the Coen Brothers’ musical drama Inside Llewyn Davis came out to theaters starring Oscar Isaac, John Goodman and Justin Timberlake. The film follows a young singer/songwriter in the middle of the folk scene of 1960s Greenwich Village and has already received 3 Golden Globe nominations for Best Picture, Best Actor (Oscar Isaac), and Best Original Song. Also in theaters is the second installment of director Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit, this one sub-titled The Desolation of Smaug. The film picks up where the first left off, and along with Ian McKellen and Cate Blanchett, also brings Orlando Bloom back to the Tolkien world from the original Lord of the Rings trilogy. Anchorman 2 and American Hustle both come out this week, and are most likely to be the big holiday hits for the 2013 season.

hustle

Hustle is Christian Bale’s second film for this month following the violent crime-drama Out of the Furnace from director Scott Cooper and co-starring Woody Harrelson and Casey Affleck. Mary Poppins has also found her way back to the big screen this year in the form of Tom Hanks and Emma Watson’s new movie Saving Mr. Banks, which was highlighted at the major film festivals earlier this year and is finally being released to the public for the holiday season. The big Christmas Day releases this year, however, include the controversial new film from director Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, The Wolf of Wall Street, which follows the life and crimes of Jordan Belfort, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, which was directed by and stars Ben Stiller in the lead role of a man who goes on a global adventure after his job is threatened. Both these films are sure to do well at the box office, with Mitty already having received a nomination for Best Picture at the New York Film Festival and Wolf receiving Golden Globe nods for Best Actor (DiCaprio) and Best Picture.

With all this talk about film it almost makes you forget Christmas is coming, but if you have any time this holiday season, check out your local movie theater; there is guaranteed to be something you like showing!!!

Earlier in the week grainy images of the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Orlando Magics” surfaced and it seems we’ve got a detailed look sooner than we presumed. As of now the “Formidable Foes” pack will also include the Seattle Supersonics and the Phoenix Suns, both of which also took tough playoff loses to the Chicago Bulls during their championship run in the 90s. No release date has been set at the moment, but we’ll have more info along with images of the Suns & Sonics kicks when they surface.

Jordan Brand has been ridiculously busy during the latter part of the year and they don’t plan to slow down one bit for the 4th quarter. In the final 3 months of the year we will see the “Laney 5s”, “Oreo 5s”, “Gamma 11s” and “Fire 5s” just to name a few and now Jordan Brand has unveiled the “Formidable Foes” pack. As the title implies the pack will include colorways from teams that took tough loses to MJ & the Bulls during their 90s dominance. If you haven’t guessed yet the above image shows the Orlando Magic version of the Air Jordan 1 Mid and we have to say they look pretty dope. Stay tuned for more pictures and details as they begin to roll in, including a release date once it’s made.
