Mike The Martry recently dropped the visual for his track “Devils Plan” via 2 Dope Boyz. Oakland MC, Joe Blow, claims the first verse reminiscing on the trials and tribulations that have influenced his life. One of our favorite Martyr verses from Marbury, Mike shows that he is more than capable of hanging with the pack. A versatile artist, Mike the Martyr is definitely some one to keep your eye on as 2015 moves along. Check out the video for “Devils Plan” above and click the link below to peep his album, Marbury.

The Bay Area has seen a resurgence in 2014 and many would point towards G-Eazy when naming a front runner. Eazy was already buzzing hard before the release of These Things Happen and now he’s easily selling out each stop on tour. The show will also feature Bay legend E-40, Iamsu! and Jay Ant, rounding out what should be a good time. Both nights are already sold out a full month ahead of the date, people looking to catch E-40 or G-Eazy in Minneapolis will need to opt for Craigslist or Facebook. Tickets for the Chicago date are still available for $40, click the link below.
RUFF ÐR∆FT just released this fresh beat yesterday and it hasn’t left our thoughts yet. The smooth drums backed by the soothing syth’s and keys, make for one enjoyable record by the producer out of Oakland. The beat bumps all the way to the end as it continuously builds and changes directions throughout. Stay tuned for more form the artist and feel free to cop the track for a $1.
Eddie Huang’s Fresh Off The Boat series continues with part 2 of his trip to the Bay Area. In the first episode, Eddie brought us hunting with the East Bay Rats motorcycle club; in part 2 he takes us to San Francisco for a Vietnamese “pop up”. Peep the video above and stay tuned for part 3 of Fresh Off The Boat: The Bay.
A couple of days ago, we finished part 3 of Fresh Off The Boat: London; now we’ve decided to throw up part 1 of The Bay area’s trilogy. In the above episode, Eddie Huang takes us rabbit hunting with the East Bay Rats motorcycle club. Anyone with a weak stomach should be warned, this episode has a couple of hard to watch scenes. The club shows the slaughtering process, in an effort to give people a feel for how disconnected we are from skinning and cleaning the animals we eat. Peep part 1 above and stay tuned for the next installment.
