Mac Miller has had a resurgence as of late. The Pittsburgh rapper is rumored to have struck a $10 million dollar deal with Warners back in 2014 and released a solid project in Macadelic. Fast forward to today and he’s now dating Ariana Grande while pushing his new album Divine Feminine. He’ll be at First Avenue in a couple of weeks with Soulection, Lakim and ClockworkDJ, no word yet on any local openers. Gunner Stahl continues to be one of the best in his class when it comes to photography, the Atlanta artist recently posted the September edition of his ongoing portrait series via Illroots. During his travels he often snaps photos of artists in back stage settings, situations that other photographers and fans alike can admire. Pixburgh artist Mac Miller dropped a pretty dope visual for his track Avian yesterday. Filmed at Jennyoga Studios, Mac is replaced by “The Guru” in a striking sanctuary-like garden. Over the last year or so Mac has been polishing his production skills with random credits from his pseudo-ego Larry Fisherman, who once again appears on this track. Chuck Inglish’s latest EP, Easily, features a five set track-list, that to say the least, has phenomenal production value to it. Between the percussion and bass lines, this track bumps! His full-length debut album, Convertibles, is due February 11th of next year, so stay tuned.
