Ever since coming onto the local hip hop scene, Go95 has provided the Twin Cities with a stable platform and a healthy amount of shows to match. This year they’ll takeover the Fine Line’s out door area for the first “Big Fancy GO Show,” headlined by the properly stoned Wiz Khalifa. Openers will include Vince Staples, Finding Novyon, Bobby Raps, Mac Irv and another guest who is yet to be announced. This one is all ages and general admission tickets are still available for $50, if you want to go all out you can cop VIP passes for $95. Mac Irv is arguably one of the Twin Cities most slept on heavy hitters. Hailing from Minneapolis’ northside, Irv’s tales of redemption and street grit have begun to resonate throughout the cities. His latest video “Misfits” delivers a powerful message while still captivating the listener musically. The visual shows how a few minor decisions can possibly change the outcome of one’s day, a scuffle at the corner store, a will to not fold under peer pressure; lessons to be learned for any kid growing up in the inner city. Check out the video for “Misfits” above and be on the look out for more from Mac Irv.

His most recent diss, “Pest Control,” set the internet ablaze creating a deafening buzz for the upcoming show. Mac Irv and Lyric Marid will open up the night, two artists who should definitely get things warmed up. This one is 21+ and general admission tickets are still available for $35, if you want to go the extra mile you can grab VIP passes for $55.
