This week has been dope for Twin Cities music and it’s only Tuesday. After shutting down virtually every summer block party/festival in 2014, GRRRL PRTY has had a relatively lax 2015. That all changed today with the release of a new single titled “Can I Live,” a dark, gritty record that sees a feature from Jeremy Nutzman (Pony Bwoy, Spyder Baybie) and production from Bionik. In signature GRRRL PRTY style, the end result is a track that is sure to get any crowd moving and Jeremy Nutzman executes his part nicely with a super smooth chorus. Now that summer is well under way, expect to see more from GRRRL PRTY soon.
Today, Sean Anonymous & Dimitry Killstorm released their new album Better Days, along with a visual for their track “Big Bang.” The high energy record plays like an action movie with each artist on attack mode during their respective verses. 3 distinct styles/flows converge on the track keeping the listener’s ear throughout. As if a new album and video wasn’t enough, Sean & Dimitry will be holding the official album release parties on both Friday & Saturday this weekend. Both lineups are stacked and we’re sure you’ll see a few special guests if you attend. Click the links below to check out Better Days via iTunes and to snag tickets for the release show.
