As winter still lingers, we slowly inch in the right direction of what we call Spring. While late April and early May spring up with festivals, the best time to live in the in the Midwest is approaching. One of the first outdoor festivals to arrive in MPLS, will be Harriet Breweries Sol Bock Revival.
The Sol Bock Revival will be littered with great beer and free live music, all while accompanied by some of the Twin Cities more successful food trucks. The live music will mostly consist of a variety of local blues/folk artists. If it is anything like the previous festivals at Harriet Brewery, it will make for an all around drunk time.

Harriet Brewery is definiately a one of a kind place. Just about every weekend they have live music which is generally free, with a good selection of art laid out across the brewery. They do things different then most breweries because they invite you into their brewery to enjoy their delectable brews; often times you can meet the brewmasters. Beers will usually run for $5, but make sure to get there on time before select brews run out. If you come hungry, don’t worry because they have scheduled food trucks that come by while the brewhouse is open.
Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler the Creator have been killing their European tour. Coming off of a dope performance in Glasgow, the kids at Odd Future flew into Paris only to be notified that they’d be playing the sold out “Stade de France” arena. Joined by Kendrick Lamar & Eminem, the EARLWOLF tour looks like it’s been a ton of fun; check out the video above and stay tuned for more as the tour continues.

Tickets: $18 Advance/ $20 Door (50% of sales goes to Minnesota Music Coalition)
Last year we randomly hopped on the drunk bus and found tickets to this gem. With live music and a celebration of Minnesota’s largest brewery, you’re going to have a good time. If you have $20 and a free Saturday, spend it here; the 27th Anniversary celebration will feature a variety of bands. A tip from last year, make sure to find one of the free shuttles because parking is rather hard find. Tiffany’s off of Ford Parkway worked out smooth, so make sure to look into it. I just really hope the dude wearing full on earplugs isn’t going to be running the soundboard this year, he damn near ruined the music alone.
Live Music: Secret Stash Soul Revue, Haley Bonar (full band), The New Standards, Lizzo (featuring Lazerbeak), Night Moves, and Charlie Parr & Friends.
Food: Pizza Luce, Barrio, Blue Plate, Black Forest Inn, Bennett’s Chop and Railhouse
