The A$AP Mob is getting set to embark on their long awaited national tour. The “Too Cozy” tour only has 20 stops, but it stretches across the country hitting just about every major city along the way, Minneapolis landing in mid October. The tour will also feature Playboi Carti, Key!, and the Cozy Boys, while A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg and the rest of the crew headline. His most recent collaboration comes in the form of a feature on Key!’s new track “Say No Mo,” an autotune heavy ballad about those who think the game has changed them. A new comedy from Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Bandits) is opening in theaters this week. Titled Rock the Kabash, the film stars comedy veteran Bill Murray (Ghostbusters, Lost in Translation) as a music-industry manager who discovers the voice of a young talent while on tour in Afghanistan and accompanies her to Kabul to participate in Afghan Star, a popular talent-reality show in the Middle East. Screenwriter Mitch Glazer (Scrooged, The Recruit) is behind the script, which features Leem Lubany (Omar, From A to B), Zooey Deschanel (Elf, Yes Man), Bruce Willis (Die Hard, Pulp Fiction), Kate Hudson (Almost Famous, The Skeleton Key), and Danny McBride (Pineapple Express, This Is The End). As ILoveMakonnen and crew continue their journey across the country, it appears Makonnen has decided to drop another new record. Featuring Key! and production from Metro Boomin, the track lulls the listener in before banging them over the head with a trunk rattling bass. ILoveMakonnen is really finding his groove and Key! continues to improve, a solid record from 3 of hip hops hottest individuals. Miami has quietly become one of the nations hottest cities for music festivals. One that all hip hop fans should be aware of is the upcoming “Rolling Loud” Festival set to go down at Soho Studios. The one day fest has an insane lineup with performances from Schoolboy Q, Travi$ Scott, Action Bronson, Juicy J, Curren$y, and A$AP Ferg to name a few. A few hometown artists even made the cut including Allan Kingdom, Kembe X, Alex Wiley, and Lucki Eck$. The event is all ages and general admission tickets are available for $70, pit tickets are $100.
