It’s no secret that Muja Messiah is one of the Twin Cities’ most impressive lyricists, yesterday he proved once again why he has earned such admiration. Freshly married and just ahead of his upcoming album release with Roc Marciano, Muja tears the booth to shreds with a spitfire freestyle over a medley of instrumentals. Greats have a way of making it look easy and that’s exactly what Muja Messiah does in the above video. Check it out and make sure to keep an eye out for Saran Rap, which is due out October 13th
Mr. Peter Parker and Go95.3 have been on fire these first few weeks. The station itself is delivering as promised and to top it off, Parker has been interviewing artists from the scene like a mad man. His latest interview was posted earlier this morning and features the south side’s own Mike The Martyr. Since dropping Ghost Dose late last year Martyr has continued his efforts as a triple threat producing, rapping and DJing all over. Go95.3 is exactly what the Cities needed, big ups Mr. Peter Parker and the crew over there; check out the interview above and stay tuned for more.
Go95.3 has quickly filled the void for hip hop lovers in the Twin Cities, it’s early; but the new station is showing a lot of promise on all fronts. One of our favorite aspects is their interview segments that have been rolling out at a steady rate. Muja Messiah recently joined Mr. Peter Parker in the booth to talk about Minnesota hip hop and what’s needed to expand the culture. Like Muja says, the fact that we now have a hip hop station investing in our artists means the world to the scene. Check out the quick interview above and stay tuned for more.
Go 95.3’s Mr. Peter Parker recently caught up with Allan Kingdom for an interview to talk about handling success and his new album. This station is by far the best thing to happen to Minneapolis’ hip hop scene in quite some time, the fact that they are so willing to work with community will prove beneficial for everyone. As Allan prepares for the GRAMMY’s, his new album is making quite the waves on the internet. Check out the album above and make sure to peep Allan Kingdom’s new album Northern Lights below.
GoMedia’s new modern hip hop station Go95.3 has had a great start with a ton of cameos and appearances during it’s first week. Driven by longtime DJ and radio personality, Mr. Peter Parker, Go95.3 promises relevant/trending hip hop music from artists on national and regional levels; certainly something Twin Cities hip hop lovers will greatly appreciate. Yesterday, Saint Paul’s own Bobby Raps stopped in to play a few records and talk Minnesota hip hop among other things. We’re super excited for this new station and all of the good things it’s sure to bring, check out Parker’s interview with Bobby Raps above and be on the look out for more.
