Watch The Full-Length Trailer For ‘Life’ With Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds

There were a lot of raise-your-eyebrow commercials at this year’s Super Bowl, and sadly they were much more memorable than any of the traditional, so-called “hilarious” Super Bowl entries. The most controversial entries was the lengthy 84 Lumber commercial where mother and daughter encounter a giant concrete wall on the US border, and the American Petroleum Institutes praise-spot for Big Oil. In addition to the barrage of propagandized TV spots and beer commercials were a number of upcoming blockbuster movie trailers. Among them were those for The Fate of the Furious, Baywatch, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, John Wick: Chapter 2, and Transformers: The Last Knight. The most impressive movie trailer, however, came from up-and-coming director Daniel Espinosa‘s Life with Jake Gyllenhaal (Prisoners, Nightcrawler), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, The Girl on the Train), and Ryan Reynolds (Waiting, Safe House). The new film is simply titled Jason Bourne and reunites original lead Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting, The Departed) with Bourne Ultimatum director Paul Greengrass (United 93, Captain Phillips). She and Damon will be joined on screen by an all-star cast, including Oscar winners Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina, The Danish Girl) and Tommy Lee Jones (The Fugitive, No Country For Old Men). Actors Riz Ahmed (The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Nightcrawler), Ato Essandoh (Blood Diamond, Django Unchained), and Scott Sheperd (Side Effects, Bridge of Spies) are also starring in the new adventure that seeks to uncover the true history behind Bourne’s (aka David Webb) mysterious past. Catch This Week’s Limited Release Features In Your Local Listings

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens opening in theaters nationwide tomorrow, you can expect movie theaters to be jam-packed this weekend with old and new generation fans alike. There are, however, a number of smaller, independent projects coming out this weekend that we like to take the time to shine the spotlight on. The first is a new war drama titled Son of Saul (originally Saul fia) from writer/director Laszlo Nemes (The Counterpart, The Gentlemen Takes His Leave), which received excellent recognition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Taking place in the Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz, in 1944, the film follows a prisoner who attempts to find redemption by saving a boy he adopts as his son from the furnaces of the camp that he has been forced to subject many of his own people to. Starring in the film are actors Geza Rohrig, Levente Molnar (Morgen, Our Big Time), Urs Rechn (Eight Miles High, The King’s Surrender), and Todd Charmont (The Last of the Mohicans, Strangers). New Full Length Trailer For ‘Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Now Available

Last week fans were able to catch a sneak peak at a scene from the upcoming Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, due out in March 2016. The film is the follow up to director Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel and the precursor to Warner Bros./DC Comics upcoming Justice League movie, which will follow the next year in 2017. Most of the supporting cast from Man of Steel will be reprising their roles, including Henry Cavill (Stardust, The Man From UNCLE) as Superman, Amy Adams (American Hustle, Big Eyes) as Lois Lane, Diane Lane (Unfaithful, Trumbo), and Michael Shannon (World Trade Center, Revolutionary Road), with newcomers Ben Affleck (Argo, The Town) as Batman, Gal Gadot (Fast Five, Furious 7), Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Conan the Barbarian), Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Zombieland), Holly Hunter (The Piano, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?), Jeremy Irons (The Man in the Iron Mask, Die Hard with a Vengeance), and Laurence Fishburne (Apocalypse Now, The Matrix) also joining the cast. The new trailer introduces the major players, including Eisenberg’s Lex Luther and a glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and also of the opposing relationship between Batman and Superman and the political storm surrounding crime in Metropolis and Gotham City. Check out the full trailer here on MADE, and as always, enjoy!

New Trailer Offers Sneak-Peak Footage For Upcoming ‘Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’

A new trailer has just been released for director Zack Snyder‘s upcoming Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film will be the follow up to Snyder’s Man of Steel (2013), with Henry Cavill (Stardust, The Man from UNCLE) and Oscar-nominee Amy Adams (American Hustle, Big Eyes) reprising their roles as Superman and Lois Lane, and introducing Ben Affleck (The Town, Argo) in the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne. Honestly, it already looks terrible, but I’ll let you judge for yourself. In preparation for Warner Bros/DC Comics big screen production of Justice League, which is expected in theaters in 2017, the film will also introduce Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7) in the role of Wonder Woman (with an independent Wonder Woman movie also expected in theaters in 2017) and Jason Momoa (Conan the Barbarian, Bullet in the Head) in the role of Aquaman. And yes, there will be an independent Aquaman movie coming out in 2018, along with The Flash, who will be played by Ezra Miller (We Need To Talk About Kevin, The Perks of Being A Wallflower) and may be making a brief appearance in this movie. In other words, once Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out, it’s right back to milking the comic books. Continue reading

New Trailer For ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Debuted At Comic-Con 2015

A lot of news was revealed at the annual Comic-Con event in San Diego this year; so much, in fact, that we’ll probably be telling you about it all week. One of the highlights of the event was the Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice panel, which featured actors Henry Cavill (The Cold Light of Day, Immortals), Ben Affleck (The Town, Argo), Gal Gadot (Entourage, Furious Seven), and Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Zombieland) discussing the movie and the new (much extended) trailer that was unveiled for fans. The movie has a lot of weight resting on its shoulders. Not only will Batman be re-introduced to the big-screen after Christian Bale’s Dark Knight series ended, but Wonder Woman will also make her big-screen debut and (if DC gets their shit together and starts coordinating their superhero movie plots) will lay the groundwork for the upcoming Justice League movies. Wonder Woman is also expected to have her own independent movie coming into production and Ben Affleck has signed on for both the Justice League movies and additional independent Batman movies. Talk about milking the cow! Anyway the new trailer for Batman Vs. Superman, which is expected in theaters March 24th, 2016, is here on MADE. Enjoy!

Ryan Gosling’s Directorial Debut ‘Lost River’ Will See Limited (Extremely Limited) Release This Weekend

Ryan Gosling will see his directorial debut open in just 3 theaters this weekend. His new film, Lost River, has received nothing but negative reviews from critics, although it was shown last year at the Cannes Film Festival in France, and again just a few weeks ago at SXSW Festival. Working from his own screenplay, Gosling tells the story of a mother in a fairy-tale future who must venture into a dark, deserted underworld that now rests below ours in order to save her sons and hold her family together. Despite all of the harsh criticism, Gosling did manage to put together a pretty impressive ensemble to bring his fantasy to life, including Christina Hendricks (Mad Men, Drive), Iain De Caestecker (Not Another Happy Ending, Filth), Saoirse Ronan (Hanna, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Matt Smith (Doctor Who, Womb), Ben Mendelsohn (Killing Them Softly, The Dark Knight Rises), and Eva Mendes (Training Day, 2 Fast 2 Furious). Unfortunately most of us won’t be able to see this one on a big screen release, but you can still see the trailer here on MADE! Enjoy!

The film will bring back Vin Diesel (XXX, The Chronicles of Riddick), Dwayne Johnson (Walking Tall, Hercules), Michelle Rodriguez (SWAT, Avatar), Jordana Brewster (The Faculty, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), Tyrese Gibson (Four Brothers, Transformers: Dark of the Moon), and newcomers Jason Statham (The Italian Job, The Transporter) and Kurt Russell (Escape from New York, Miracle) with the rest of the Furious 7 crew under the new direction of horror/suspense director James Wan (Saw, The Conjuring). New Will Ferrell And Kevin Hart Comedy ‘Get Hard’ Opening March 27th

The story follows millionaire James King (Ferrell), who turns to Darnell Lewis (Hart) to teach him how to survive in prison when he is convicted of fraud and sentenced to San Quentin Prison. Making up the supporting cast are actors Alison Brie (Community, The Five-Year Engagement), T.I. (Step Up, Fast and Furious 6), and Taryn Terrell (The Campaign, Now You See Me). Furious 7 Opening In Theaters April 3rd, 2015

This April will see the final installment of the iconic Fast and Furious series with original actor Paul Walker from Universal Studios. This will be director James Wan‘s (Saw, The Conjuring) first-step into the action-film series that will reunite cast members Vin Diesel (XXX, The Chronicles of Riddick), Dwayne Johnson (Walking Tall, Hercules), Jordana Brewster (The Faculty, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), and Michelle Rodriguez (S.W.A.T., Avatar), plus the whole string of actors that have appeared regularly throughout the series. Also joining the cast for this upcoming installment is Jason Statham (The Transporter, The Italian Job), who made an uncredited appearance in Fast and Furious 6, and Golden Globe-nominee Kurt Russell (Escape From New York, Death Proof). This seventh installment in the series has been making news since Paul Walker’s untimely death in 2013; the production was delayed by 6 months, the script was tweaked for Walker’s absence, and even Walker’s brothers came aboard to help complete some of his scenes with the help of CGI technology, so needless to say this movie has been through some hurdles already. Check out the trailer here on MADE. The opens near you this April 3rd.
