Just ahead of their show at First Avenue earlier last weekend, the newly formed Clockwork Indigo (Flatbush Zombies & The Underachievers) dropped a 5 track self-titled EP. The Clockwork Indigo EP packs quite the punch with that bonafide high energy that both groups have manifested so well. The “Beast Coast” is definitely on the come up as a plethora of artists continue to drop heat from within the region. Check out Clockwork Indigo’s EP below and be on the look out for a few visuals in the near future.

After winning 2013’s “Best Concert Photographer” award, Adam DeGross continues doing what he does best. As we all know, Soundset 2014 was fuckin awesome. Amidst the drinks, blunts and whatever else people were taking; it’s great to have photographers like Adam who completely capture the best moments. For most the day was a blur, but thanks to Adam DeGross’ amazing work, you can relive the festival forever. Above you’ll see the likes of 2 Chains, Wiz Khalifa, Earl Sweatshirt, Prof and Nas among others. Click the link below for the full album.

The lineup for Soundset 2014 is here and let me be the first to tell you….this is going to be HUGE. Of course hometown heroes Atmosphere are headlining, but that’s when the excitement begins. The festival will also feature Wiz Khalifa (2nd trip), EarlWolf (Tyler The Creator & Earl Sweatshirt), Chance The Rapper, Lizzo, Dem Atlas and even big names like Nas & 2 Chains among others. The event will be hosted by Sway again and will also feature skate contests, a car show and live graffiti painting. We’ll keep you guys posted with more info as it comes in.

Nardwuar vs Flatbush Zombies

As our Nardwuar x Soundset 2014 series continues, we thought Flatbush Zombies would be a good fit. If you’re not familiar, the Flatbush Zombies call Flatbush, Brooklyn their home; they’re apart of what’s being billed “The Beastcoast Movement”. This new movement refers to the resurgence of fresh talent coming out of the East Coast at the moment, specifically NYC. They were in Minneapolis a couple of months back and loved it so it’s nice to see them included in Soundset’s lineup. Check out the interview above and stay tuned for the next one.

Flatbush Zombies – BETTEROFFDEAD Tour “Live From the Road”

If you haven’t seen the line up for Soundset this year (really?), you already know the list is a long one with a lot of dope artists. Among them are the Flatbush Zombies, who’ve been riding the success of their latest project, BETTEROFFDEAD, with a nation wide tour. Above is a little peak at what you can expect come May 25th at Soundset, hailing from the mecca (Brooklyn, NY); these guys are at the forefront of the “Beastcoast” movement. Peep the video above and make sure to check them out LIVE at Soundset.

[Fresh] Joey Bada$$ – My Jeep

Joey released the Summer Knights EP on iTunes today, and it will be featuring two new tracks. “My Jeep” was released yesterday, and it is pretty dope. The track features Meech, Issa, The Underachievers, and Chuck Strangers (Produced by Lee Bannon). Peep the track, and if you already haven’t, check out the Summer Knights EP.

[New] Flatbush ZOMBiES – Death

We gave a little sneak peak of this video a little while back, and now it is here. The visuals are definitely fitting with Erick’s eerie beats in this one, especially fitting with the month of October upon us.  The video highlights the three preparing for what looks to be a laid-back apocalypse. Sit back, hit play, and bob that noggin.
