Enemy Planes Live @ Icehouse w/ Beasthead

Enemy Planes will headline Icehouse tonight, their shows have been few and far between as of late, but they’ve picked things up recently. Beasthead will open up the evening rounding out what should be a solid night of music. This year’s Northeast Brewer’s Block Party will once again be hosted by the good people over at Sociable Cider Werks. The event caters to just about anyone who likes to have fun, with a plethora of local music, local brew and local eats to indulge upon you can’t really go wrong. This year there will be live performances from Enemy Planes, Sam Cassidy, Baby Shel and Southside Desire among others along; with brew provided by Fulton, Indeed, 612, Insight and Bauhaus to name a few. Hungry? No problem, there will also be food trucks from Curious Goat, Anchor: Fish & Chips, Tatanka Truck, Scratch Kitchen and Gastrotruck. If that wasn’t enough the event is FREE with a suggested donation of $1 (yea ONE fuckin dollar) for wristbands. Don’t drink? No worries, there will be plenty of family friendly games to check out while you get down to some of Minneapolis’ hottest local acts. Enemy Planes will be LIVE at Triple Rock this Saturday. After having a great 2014, the band plans to keep their momentum going with what looks like a great show. They’ll be joined by Better Bones & The Person and The People, making for what some may consider a must attend event. Beasthead Minneseries @ Nomad

The homies from Beasthead are already 4 Thursday’s into their October residency at the Nomad. Each night will feature a different group of artists and each Thursday looks like a good time. Tonight, Garrison Grouse will perform and release a new video as well as performances from Aaron & The Sea, C.Kostra and Ice Cream Visual Suite. These are 21+ and like always FREE, if you’re looking for something to get into tonight,look no further.

The Monastery will once again be hosting a full night of music this coming Saturday. They’ve always thrown good parties, but this next one is looking like one that can’t be missed. The night will feature live performances from Enemy Planes, Botzy, Beasthead, Heavy Petting, Danger Ron & The Spins, Fort Wilson Riot and Ice Cream Visual Suite. DAMN!, If that line up alone doesn’t convince you; I’m not sure if you know how to have a good time. As always, bring your own booze for insurance and come ready for a great time.

This coming Monday, we'll be back at Triple Rock Social Club with our friends Phantom Tails and Ricky Charles. Doors open at 8pm. 18+, $5 Cover.

Incase you missed any of their recent shows this November, the good guys of Beasthead will be ending their run strong with Dream Crusher next Monday at Triple Rock. The night will feature all of the following artists: Dream Crusher, Space Rock Collective Featuring members of ME & My Arrow, Enemy Planes, Fort Wilson Riot, Hardcore Crayons, Night Moves, with Cruel Love (CD Release). For an entire night of music you are expected to pay $5; so might as well just go already.
