Danish menswear brand, SOULLAND, recently posted the official pics of their upcoming collaboration with Nike SB. The two companies have created a pair of SB Dunk Lows and Highs set to release on Friday, December 15th. The kicks are super clean, utilizing white suede and leather with subtle blue accents, the detail bestowed upon these sneaks is unmatched. Set to retail at $155 (USD), these will be extremely limited; so unless you can make it to SOULLAND’s flagship store in Copenhagen, your best bet will be to download the Nike SNKRS app. Clink the link below for more info.
Nike SB has had a quiet start to the year, but one clean pair of kicks they’ve released comes in the form of a rider edition. Ishod Wair rides for SB and was recently blessed with his own kicks, the black leather on black suede falling nicely behind the graphite swoosh. A solid pair of black sneaks that should last you through the year, these are currently available in store at Cal-Surf for $95; stop by if you like what you see.
Nike SB recently gifted the world with their latest Dunk High release. It’s hard to believe that it took them this long to drop a black suede High with a gum bottom, a welcome addition to any sneaker aficionado’s collection. These should start popping up at your local SB retailers any day now, expect them to retail near $100.
Nike SB is planning to kick 2016 off with a bang, they recently announced the release of a new dunk low dubbed the “Bigfoot.” One look at the shoe proves the name is no fluke, brown suede sits atop a tan sole (not an actual gum sole) making for a safe, but clean colorway. Not too many concrete details regarding these, but word around town is these can be expected on shelves in mid-January.
Nike SB recently linked up with 2 Cincinnati skate shops on a pair of dunks commemorating Cinci’s World Series win in 1990. That year the final series came down to the Oakland A’s and the Reds, Cinci would go on to sweep Oak-town with ease serving as one of the most devastating World Series’ in recent (semi) history. Both kicks are suited in each teams colors with the high dressed in A’s green & yellow, while the low is dressed in Red’s colors with champion gold linings. History buffs will appreciate the American flags on each heel paying homage to the beginning of the Gulf War which coincided with the World Series. These are available now at Familia skatshop in Uptown, or click the link below to order them via Rock City Kicks.
Nike SB and legendary Michigan skate shop Premier will once again link up on a pair of Nike kicks set to release this weekend. No stranger to Nike collabs, Premier skate shop is easily among the nations best. Their most recent collaboration commemorates Fish Ladder Park and the rigorous journey that salmon must take to reproduce. The kicks feature the now classic salmon steak print on the toe and even a scaley looking swoosh, clean yet flashy at the same damn time. The dunk lows will retail for $100 while the Janoski Max versions will retail for $110, these will be available via Premier starting on Saturday, November 14th. Nike SB has cooled off quite a bit since the beginning of 2015 but it appears they still have a few releases in the vaults. Their latest drop comes in the form of an all blue SB Dunk low, a homage to Arrested Development’s Tobias Fünke. For those who don’t know, the character Tobias had an obsession with painting his entire body blue (various situations) after going to a Blue Man Group concert. These should be available at your local SB retailer or you can click the link below and grab them now for $100 via Premier.
Local Minneapolis skate shop, Familia, celebrated their 10th anniversary in June with multiple big bangs. The cherry on top came in the form of a quick strike collaboration with Nike SB that released at the end of the month. Highly coveted within the sneaker community, the Dunk High “Blue Ox” can still be found for relatively cheap considering the hype that surrounded their release. If you’re still dying to get your hands on a pair, you’ll be happy to know that multiple re-sellers can be contacted via Ebay with the shoes going for around $150 on average. With Familia celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary a few weeks back, the Uptown skate shop proved they were celebrating big, announcing a collaboration with Nike SB. The Dunk High ” Blow Ox” was born, skaters and sneaker heads rejoiced, but details surrounding the release are STILL nil to none. This Saturday, July 4th is the day, if you’re dying to grab a pair (like me) stop by the shop and see what’s up, we’ll throw up the necessary info once acquired.
