The good people over at Rhymesayers finally announced the lineup for this year’s Soundset Music Festival and it’s fucking insane. This year’s event will be headlined by A$AP Rocky, Future and Atmosphere, with other performances including Common, The Roots, Danny Brown, Post Malone, Machine Gun Kelly, Lizzo, Raury, DJ Marley Marl, Mick Jenkins and Pharoahe Monch among others. With the 2016 festival taking place at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds, everyone can expect much easier access to the event. Arguably the strongest lineup in the festival’s storied history, tickets are set to go on sale at 11AM on March 4th. The early bird rate started at $53 and the level 2 general admissions prices are set at $79, if you happen to snooze you might end up paying $88 for the level 3 tickets. Those interested in buying early should stop by Fifth Element in person on March 4th, that’s literally your best bet to grab tickets at the cheapest price. This year’s summer has been jam packed with awesome events in both Chicago and Minneapolis, but with the fall right around the corner; (gasp) tour season is about to be in full effect. A$AP Rocky & Tyler The Creator took to the web today to announce their “Rocky & Tyler” tour that will span the U.S., including a stop in Chicago; this fall. The tour will also include Danny Brown and Vince Staples making for what could end up as one of the best shows of the year. No concrete details yet regarding openers but tickets are slated to go on sale Friday, August 7th. Some tour dates are still TBA, click the link below to check out the booked dates.

The good people over at Adult Swim continue their on going musical collaboration series with Danny Brown & Clams Casino. Both artists still maintain cult followings within the hip hop community, but it’s been awhile since we’ve heard from either. With the announcement of Danny Brown’s upcoming tour with A$AP Rocky, Tyler The Creator & Vince Staples; you can expect to be hearing A LOT more from Danny this month. Adult Swim has really held it down with this series, Clams laces Danny Brown with a complimentary instrumental allowing them to find a groove. The homie BVCKWOODS recently dropped a new mix dubbed “PRMT 014.” Right on time for what looks like another awesome weekend, the mix features the likes of Danny Brown, Space Ghost Purp, Rome Fortune, Travi$ Scott and Lil B among others. Fresh Off The Boat w/ Eddie Huang: Detroit (Part 1)
