C.M.J has been on the grind for quite some time, some would even vouch for him as one of the hardest working artists in the Twin Cities. It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten a project from him, so we’re sure the evening will be lit. The event will also feature performances from Rey Gordo, Kat Fox, Five Second Rule, and DJ Adatrak. Last night, we made our way into 7th St. Entry for “Gift Rapped,” which featured a slew of local hip-hop artists. The night featured: Alex Frecon, Christopher Michael Jensen, Catalyst, Killstreak and The Rotation. After Christopher Michael Jensen and Alex Frecon took to the stage, the crowd was buzzing off music and booze.

Once The Rotation made it onto the stage, it was a wrap. High energy combined with booming bass – there was no time for rest as they smashed the pedal to the ground and took off running. For those who don’t know, The Rotation is just how it sounds; each emcee rotates and takes turns spitting over a plethora of Gorman’s beats.

If you didn’t make it to the sold out show, the best we can do for you is bring a little recap of the night. Keep your eyes and ears open and stay tuned for more to come.
