Children of I.L.L.I.O.S recently dropped the visual for the 4th single off their debut album, Journey Through The Blakk Sun. Directed by Nick Visuals and produced by Moods, the video compliments the record’s feel perfectly balancing the golden era with I.L.L.I.O.S’ style. These kids are definitely on the up and up, solid flows, no gimmicks, and above all, it looks like they’re genuinely having fun. Supa Bwe recently dropped a new EP via Twitter for all of our listening pleasure. Titled, Dead Again, the 3 track EP is a glimpse at Supa’s current direction. As of late, the Chicago artist has been a lot quieter than we’ve grown accustomed to; it’s definitely nice to see he’s still at work. Each of these tracks contrast each other with a variety of sounds being used, the homie RIO even secures a feature on “MAJIN GUWOP.” Just enough to excite the ears, we’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on Supa and the Hurt Everybody crew. Check out Dead Again above and be on the look out for more.
Although the first installment of the All City series may have been more expansive, All City Vol. 2 takes a larger look at Minneapolis & Chicago’s hip hop scenes, while still incorporating a few other national artists. 2014 has been a great year for music in both Chicago & Minneapolis, with a lot of creativity brewing in the Mid-West. All City Vol. 2 takes some of our favorites from Chicago, Minneapolis and other cities across the nation. Check out the compilation below and keep an eye out for the All City feature.

Tonight, we bring you Kez The Dude’s new track titled “Who Is White Iverson.” A remix of Post Malone’s smash hit, Kez brings his own style twisting the record into his own. We don’t usually premier remixes and this probably wont happen again for awhile, but we’ve grown to enjoy Kez; the guy simply has FUN with his music. The track is calming but comes equipped with a car rattling bass, especially good on a night time cruise through the city. Kez and the New Deal Crew continue to progress, check out “Who Is White Iverson” below and stay tuned for more.
Chicago spitter Hyype recently released a new track titled “Vital.” The Chicago MC links up with Miami’s own Boobielootaveli over a dark synth ridden instrumental. Both artists hold their own with a pair of quick witted verses that display each of their lyrical ability. Hyype has been a little quiet as of late, but we have a feeling that all of this will change very soon. Check out “Vital” above and stay tuned for more from Hyype and The 11th Realm.
