This little establishment is a must stop for Chicago dog lovers and cheeseburger fiends. Uncle Franky’s, the original establishment, offers a legit Chicago style menu at a reasonable price. The food itself is absolutely on point. Whether it’s a Chicago dog, a Juicy Lucy, Italian Beef, Philly Cheese Steak, or some freshly cut fries; Uncle Franky’s does it right. The tiny building is located smack dab in the neighborhoods of NE, and can easily be missed. Next time you are cruising down Broadway, keep yours eyes peeled, you might want to make the stop.

Although Pappy’s is no secret, we had to put em on. The place claims to be a Chicago style restaurant specializing in Chicago style dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. Even though these may be some of their specialty foods, they have an endless menu including catfish, omelets, cheesesteaks, and a variety of chicken wings. They don’t have a website for us to link them to, so hear me out when I say this place is legit. Expect to spend anywhere from $2-7 at Pappy’s, and you will get a damn good meal in return. Also, check out their $2.99 breakfast special which includes eggs, hash-browns and one of a kind toast.

The chill-laidback beats boast some heavy hitting bass as you dive deeper and deeper into the album. The album itself, is mostly instrumental, featuring 15 complete tracks in all. This Thursday, we sadly inch towards the closing of Cause. Fortunately for us, we have a another solid lineup during the closing weeks. Moodie Black will be making their last stop in Minneapolis for their NAUSEA tour. The night will also feature the likes of No Bird Sing and ZULUZULUU, to make for another can’t miss show. Moodie Black is not your typical group, as they possess a style that is unique to their own right. For some pocket change and a few hours of your night, Cause should be marked in your calendars for this Thursday.
Minneapolis spitter Sean Anonymous has decided to take a break from his self-proclaimed “performance hiatus” and will take the stage this Thursday, October 3rd at the Triple Rock Social Club. Sean will be joined by a dope cast including Speed’s The Name and UMAMI. Tickets are only $5 and doors open at 8PM so there’s no reason to not show up. After the Triple Rock show all my Chicagoans can expect to see Sean Anonymous along with Prof & Mike Mictlan at Reggie’s Rock Club on the 10th, be ready.

If you can’t make it out to Big V’s in St.Paul tonight, then make it down to Honey to check out a rather inexpensive show with Greg Grease and Just 9. The cover, just $3, so make sure to make it to one of the shows. The only problem is, last time we ended up to a ‘dance party’ at a venue, it was straight early 2000’s mainstream rap. This most likely this won’t be the case with Just 9 and Greazy in the building, expect something more than the expected.
Back in 2011 Google made a $700 million dollar deal to buy ITA software which allowed them to do multiple algorithms to launch Google Flights. As of today this blows my mind, how could they never of brought this up in an ad? By a simple click Google allows you to view the cheapest flights around the world in their Google Maps view; just by the simplicity of using this side tab, I want to jump on a plane and fly somewhere. After picking your destination, it also shows you the cheapest flights fifteen days before and after your flight. Go ahead and try Google Flights, simplicity of locating flights at its finest, (they should really be paying us for this.)
