New Trailer Available For ‘2oolander’ In Theaters February 2016

Reactions by fans to the news that there would be a second Zoolander was pretty mixed, although it didn’t necessarily come with any real surprise considering Hollywood insists on banking on 20-year-old franchises these days. Nevertheless the rumors were true and production has been underway for sometime now, with the upcoming release for Zoolander 2 scheduled for February 12, 2016. Ben Stiller (Meet the Parents, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story) and Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers, Midnight in Paris) are reprising their roles as fashion models Derek and Hansel, whose careers are now threatened by a new company attempting to put them out of business. Ben Stiller is once again behind the director’s chair, working from a script by himself and original Zoolander screenwriter John Hamburg (Along Came Polly, I Love You Man), along with Justin Theroux (Tropic Thunder, Iron Man 2) and Nicholas Stoller (Yes Man, Get Him To The Greek). New Thriller From M. Night Shyamalan ‘The Visit’ Now Playing In Theaters

It seems like we’ve gone a long time without seeing a scary movie from M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs) open on the big screens, but a new thriller from the iconic writer/director is opening in theaters across the country today. This will be his first feature film since 2013’s After Earth; he most recently served as executive producer for the television series Wayward Pines, after writing a couple of episodes for After Hours. He also has an undisclosed project that is still in the early production stages. The new release is titled The Visit and follows two siblings on a visit to see their grandparents, but things turn very strange and the trip proves to be everything but an ordinary trip to grandma’s house. Leading the cast as the two kids are Olivia DeJonge (The Sisterhood of Night, Polarized) and Ed Oxenbould (Paper Planes, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day), with actors Deanna Dunagan (Running Scared, Dimension), Peter McRobbie (Spider-Man 2, Lincoln), and Kathryn Hahn (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Step Brothers) making up the supporting cast. Shyamalan screened the movie at ComicCon in San Diego and received positive reviews from audiences there, who report a really crazy twist in pure M. Night Shyamalan style. I’ll just say it’s about time. The trailer is featured above. Enjoy the weekend!

Anchorman 2 Release Moved Ahead 2 Days

poster

Since the summer there has been a lot of excitement and speculation going around about the long awaited sequel to 2004’s Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy starring Will Farrell. Also in the movie is the hilarious trio of Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and Dave Koechner as Burgundy’s news team members, as well as Christina Applegate and Fred Willard. Will Farrell has spent a lot of his recent time campaigning for the movie across the country, appearing at schools and giving speeches in character, on top of some other publicity stunts as his famous alter ego. Now the sequel is being moved ahead from it’s original December 20th release date to Wednesday, December 18th. Interesting choice to release on a Wednesday, but maybe not; especially considering winter break is starting for the majority of students across the country. Both the new film and the original are being directed by Adam McKay and released through Paramount. We’ll see in just a few weeks if the early release helps them beat out the holiday competition.

Paramount Plans Special Release For Anchorman 2

legend

It’s been 10 years (though it seems like longer) since Ron Burgundy and his team of anchormen hit the screen with non-stop laughs and ridiculous antics as they walked about like gods in the streets of San Diego, which of course, in German, translates to a “whale’s vagina!” Now Paramount is bringing everyone’s favorite news man back to the big screen, and the studio is planning a real treat for fans to celebrate. Much like Paramount’s Mega-Ticket offer for World War Z earlier this year, which was re-released for IMAX around the same time as the DVD release, Paramount is teaming with AMC Theaters to offer the “Superticket” for Anchorman fans to see the movie two days before its official release this December. Fans can go to the Anchorman 2 website to register for tickets. The movie hits theaters nationwide on December 20th.

Anchorman 2 (Trailer)

The News Team is back after a near 14 year vacation from the big screen. We have, of course, seen plenty of the comedy quartet since the first film came out in 2004, but now Ron Burgundy and his team of wacky anchormen are taking on a new decade of news and politics: the 80s! Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and David Koechner will all be reprising their roles in the comedy sequel due out this Christmas, once again behind the direction of Adam McKay. Check out the first official trailer right here on MADE!!!!
