The event will feature the legendary duo Dead Prez, Chester Watson, BLVCK SPVCE, Chance York, Sophia Eris and a bunch of special guests, not bad for the price of $15 bucks. We’re definitely interested to see what they have in-store for Tears of Gold, no matter their name we’re sure it’ll be a solid project. This one is 18+ and tickets are available now for $15, click the link below to buy yours now.
The homies from BLVCK SPVCE have been pretty quiet as of late taking time out to work on their upcoming project. The multi-faceted crew recently dropped some newness titled, “YūNu,” a slow rising banger that builds anticipation as it creeps along. Produced by 1990, the instrumental suits all three MCs well as each offers a unique sound within their own verses. A while back we got a chance to listen in on BLVCK SPVCE’s vault, just know that this is the tip top of the iceberg. Check out “YūNu” above and keep an eye out for more from BLVCK SPVCE.

Although the first installment of the All City series may have been more expansive, All City Vol. 2 takes a larger look at Minneapolis & Chicago’s hip hop scenes, while still incorporating a few other national artists. 2014 has been a great year for music in both Chicago & Minneapolis, with a lot of creativity brewing in the Mid-West. All City Vol. 2 takes some of our favorites from Chicago, Minneapolis and other cities across the nation. Check out the compilation below and keep an eye out for the All City feature.

This past Friday night, we made our way into Triple Rock for what turned out to be another packed show in 2015. The night featured the likes of: BLVCK SPVCE, Spyder Baybie Raw Dog w/ 2% Muck, and Major G. With opening jams by Major G and the entertaining Syder Baybie – The Triple Rock was filled with anticipation and booze by the time SPVCE took to the stage.
