The boys from Beasthead just released their new EP, I Owe You For This, and the release party is set to go down tonight at Icehouse. It’s been awhile since we’ve gotten a new project from them, but they’ve always delivered well crafted work. Their live shows have transformed since the days of Tallest Trees, so we’re looking forward to seeing where they’re at now. The lineup for the night also features Cool Pollution, MAKR, and DJ sets by Keith Millions. This event 21+ to enter and the door will only cost you $7, click the link below for more information.
The homies from Beasthead recently re-released the visual for their track “Sticker Your Brain.” A collaborative effort with fellow Minnesotans, Fort Wilson Riot, “Sticker Your Brain” is a record that lulls the listener, it’s multi-layered vocals all engulfing. The visual is equally gorgeous, filmed in Stillwater the picturesque streets make for a great backdrop. Check out the video for “Sticker Your Brain” above and keep an eye out for Beasthead’s new EP, I Owe You For This.

The Dogg Pound is one of our favorite houses in Minneapolis. Although we no longer spend much time there, we still have a ton of respect for all of the people who live/ co-exist there. This Halloween they’ll turn their usually hot and sweaty end of summer bash (dogg days of summer) into a costume party. The Crash Bandits, Glow Mechanics and Beasthead will all take the stage with plenty of time for dancing afterwards. This is a 21+ party and BYOB is highly encouraged, click the link below for more info.
This past Friday, Beasthead held down The Nomad to kickoff the Halloween weekend. The night featured a variety of local artists – all of which, are a unique blend of genres. It was free to enter with a costume, which made it that much more of a reason to come out and support local acts – and aren’t we glad that we did. Make sure to visit the links above and browse the pics below. Don’t forget to continue to stay locked for more recaps to come!
Location: 701 1st Avenue N, Minneapolis When: Friday, October 30th @ 9PM

MADE will be sponsoring the event alongside PBR, they’ll provide the $3 tall boys; and we’ll have a classic photo booth for those who want to capture the memory. The homies from Glow Mechanics will be hosting October’s Minneseries at the Nomad World Pub. The series will be sponsored by PBR and Jameson so you already know the drink specials will be on point. The first of the four events is tonight (Oct.1st) and will feature performances from Billy Woods, Beasthead, Premrock and Glow Mechanics; rounding out what should be a good night. These are always FREE and the door is 21+, click the link below for more information on Glow Mechanic’s October Minneseries.
This photo series captures the above performances at 7th Street Entry, in downtown Minneapolis. While First Ave continues to get their shit together and fix their roof, we enjoyed a solid night of music next door. With opening acts of Tired Tongues and StoLyette, the night was then capped by a strong performance by Beasthead. The group ended their night by inviting both emcee’s from Glow Mechanics to the stage, nearly collapsing the functional roof above – or so it seemed. Scroll through the pics below and make sure to stay tuned for more from all three groups.
Location: 701 1st Avenue N, Minneapolis When: Monday, August 24th @ 7:30PM
