Nardwuar was all business during this year’s SXSW Music Festival interviewing a wide range of up and coming artists. During the fest, the Human Serviette was able to meet up with Father & Awful Records for a quick interview. Nardwuar of course did his research showering his guests with extraordinary gifts. Father & crew play along well resulting in another good interview for Nard’s collection. Check out the interview above and keep an eye out for more from Nardwuar.
Noisey’s Atlanta documentary continues with episode 7. In this segment, Thomas Morton and crew meet up with ILoveMakonnen for a glimpse into his daily life while in the ATL. During the episode, Makonnen introduces the Noisey team to fellow artists like Father, Metro Boomin and Sonny Digital; all before indulging in a few mushrooms. A lot of people hate on Makonnen, but I believe it’s simply because they don’t take him for who he is. He isn’t hard, he isn’t trying to be, it’s obvious the kid just likes to party, have a good time and make music. If you can’t respect that than you might need to take a long look in the mirror. Check out episode 7 above and be on the look out for the next installment.
