They’ve had a few back to back strong years as of late, but it looks like they’ll be swinging for the fences in 2016. Arguably one of the hottest shoes to ever grace retail shelves, the “Space Jam” XIs will surely be a sought after item when they release this holiday season. With 2015 marking Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary, the brand has been quick to turn back to one of their biggest themes, Space Jam. The original “Space Jam” XIs are still held on a pedestal as one of JB’s best releases, so it’s no surprise that they’ve decided to drop kicks for some of the movie’s notable characters. Earlier this year they released the “Lola Bunny” VIIs and now it appears that they’ll be releasing a pair of kicks inspired by Marvin The Martian. Black leather all over with light accents of Marvin’s signature colors, an odd pair of kicks but one that will surely have sneakerheads lining up. These will retail for $190 and they are due for an August release, check back for an official release date.

This time around the Air Jordan 5 will see a release in an all new color way, the “Hornets.” No doubt paying homage to the team that Michael Jordan now owns, these kicks are already surrounded by a ton of hype. Perfect for the summer, the primarily white “Metallic Silvers” will retail for $190 at select Nike accounts. As the year of Infrared ends, Jordan brand might have plans to switch things up going into 2015. A few weeks ago, they provided the release date for the above Air Jordan VII “French Blues”, which will fall under the brands newly formed “remastered” division. This basically means that the shoe will be exactly the same as it’s original (OG) version with premium materials, with that also comes a slightly higher price tag. No word on the retail, but these are expected to hit shelves today, good luck.
After making nearly $100 Million from the release of the XI “Legend Blues”, Jordan Brand plans to hit the ground running with another coveted upcoming release. As rumored, the Air Jordan IV “Columbia” will be given the “Remastered” treatment in January. This means that the kicks will be re-done to match the exact fabrics and colors from the original pairs. The “Columbia” IVs are first on the list of many to receive this makeover, and word around town is that they will be available in mass quantities.
