We’ve been keeping an eye on this project for what seems like years now (which isn’t far from reality considering it has taken more than a decade to get a Pablo Escobar biopic on the big screen), but now we finally have some more news as to a nationwide release. Escobar: Paradise Lost, which is directed by Italian actor Andrea Di Stefano (Nine, Life of Pi), was originally given a limited release back in January of this year, but now the film will see another release in theaters this June 26th in New York, LA, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, El Paso, Memphis, Tulsa, Phoenix and Washington DC. Leading the cast in the role of Escobar is Oscar-winner Benicio Del Toro (The Usual Suspects, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas), Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games, Red Dawn), and Claudia Traisac (The 7th Day, Apaches). The international trailer is available here on MADE. Be sure to check your local listings if you live in any of these areas!
