The kid XXXTentacion has been popping up all over the place as of late, starting with his claim that Drake bit his flow for one of his upcoming singles. Over the last few weeks he’s gone back and forth with San Diego rapper, Rob $tone, all of which culminated with an affiliate of $tone knocking X out at his San Diego tour stop. The ultra hype artist will be live at MYTH tonight while he continues across the nation on his “Revenge” tour. He’ll be joined by Ski Mask The Slump God and Craig Xen, two artists who are beginning to make names for themselves as well. This show is all ages and general admission tickets are currently available for $27, VIP tickets are also available ranging from $63-$111; click the link below to buy yours now.

So Cold Records has emerged as the most buzzing label/collective of hip hop artists among the youth in the Twin Cities. Front man Allan Kingdom recently announced the North American leg of his Lines tour, he’ll be joined by fellow So Cold artists, Finding Novyon and Drelli, among others. Over the last couple of months the trio has released more than a handful of tracks in various forms of collaboration with each other, “Relax” being one of their most recent. The Topper Atwood produced track thumps along and Allan’s masterful vocals provide a hook that instantly captures the listener. Allan and Drelli appear to be forming a Penny/Shaq, Stockton/Malone like duo, if these are just loose records we can’t wait to see what else So Cold has up their sleeves. Check out “Relax” above and keep an eye out for more information regarding Allan Kingdom’s Lines tour.
Atlanta artist, Father, took to Twitter yesterday (on Father’s Day) to release the visual for his infectiously buzzing new track “Hands.” Produced by MeltyCanon, the record feels jubilant and grimy at the same time. A variety of xylophone and bell tones are sprinkled over a hard, rumbling bass line, Father does what he does best injecting his quirky, off-canter style. The visual is equally stimulating as it follows a group of kids leaving havoc in their wake, you probably wont take away anything truly profound, but the video definitely displays an air of cool. Check out the video for yourself above and keep an eye out for more from Father.
