Dubbed Years of Obscurity, the first offering from the project comes in the form of a new video titled “Lake St.”. The fight club-esque visual completes the songs gritty aesthetic, we could definitely get used to the kid Liban starring in videos. Bobby Raps – Purgatory (Video)

Bobby Raps has been heating up as of late, the Twin Cities artist took to Worldstar HipHop yesterday to premiere the video for his latest track “Purgatory.” Directed by Stephen Maturen, the visual compliments the song very well. Dark and gritty, Bobby gets personal on this record exploring his inner depths; a powerful practice of introspection. Check out the video for “Purgatory” above and peep the fire snippet towards the end.

The Klituation #2 [Recap]

If you aren’t familiar with The Klituation, let me star t by saying it is one of the best dance parties in town. The all female lineup features mainstays such as DJ Keezy, Shannon Blowtorch, Sophia Eris, and more while a rotating cast of artists make guest appearances. RP Hooks – Pac Talk (Video)

RP Hooks has always had some of the more artistic visuals in the Twin Cities, his most recent release, “Pac Talk,” continues that trend. Directed by Alan de Leon Taverna, the visual takes on a dark tone that matches the record perfectly. Minimalist, the video does a good job of providing a cinematic feel. Hooks’ abrasive style sounds rebellious in a world where tension is mounting, short but sweet; this track definitely sets the tone. Check out the video for “Pac Talk” above and keep an eye out for more from RP Hooks.
