The homie Energe has been on quite the tear as of late releasing a slew of new records via his Soundcloud. One of which titled, “Henny Bold,” is a slow simmering banger. Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks recently announced that they are indeed reuniting as The Cool Kids. This is welcome news for hip hop fans who fell in love with their aesthetic and sound nearly 10 years ago. This week marks another solid one for local hip hop in the Twin Cities. Of the many shows going on, Saturday’s “Midwest Best” Showcase is one of the better ones.
