Hip Hop on the Springboard Pt. II w/ Alex Frecon & Konstant Movement

Tonight, Honey will host part 2 of Hip Hop on the Springboard. The event has a dope lineup with performances from 3flection, Alex Frecon, Konstant Movement and Soft Pore Corn(correct spelling), rounding out what should be a good night. Honey has been turning up with the absence of Cause, there’s usually a decent crowd on just about any night. Atari Jones – Too Much On The Way


A couple days ago, we received a track from the Land (Cleveland) featuring up and comer Atari Jones. This is the latest offering from Atari since signing to Chicago label Lawless Inc. On this record he linked up with Australian producer Papertoy for another dope single, definitely something to ride to on a nice day. Air Jordan VI “Sport Blue” Release Date


Jordan Brand is looking to make 2014 the year of the “VI” with several releases for that model due soon. As rumors regarding a complete OG re-release for the year continue, the above “Sport Blue” 6s are a sign that these “rumors” may be coming true after all. The Air Jordan VI “Sport Blue” is set to hit retailers on August 30th at a price of $170, if you’re looking to cop, you should get start getting your game plan set.

Botzy “I’ll Be Underground When I’m Dead”


Just ahead of his birthday, Botzy has released his project I’ll Be Underground When I’m Dead, for all of our listening pleasure. One of the 5 finalists for Vita.Mn’s “Best New Bands” contest, Botzy is looking to expand upon his success. The album spans about 35 minutes and contains a lot of diversity as far as sounds go. Another solid effort from one of Minneapolis’ hottest up and comers, what’s next you might ask? Botzy is currently gearing up for his B-Day celebration this Friday at 7th Street, if you’re in Minneapolis you should definitely attend, there wont be a better place to be. Spazz & Reelo are back with a new track entitled “Tonight” for all of our listening pleasure. Produced by Matt Witt, the duo goes in over the celebratory sounding instrumental with ease. A style is definitely beginning to shape as they continue to show off their chemistry. No word on a new project so for now, you’ll have to bump this. A$AP Rocky’s 5 part documentary continues with part 3. During the 3rd installment, Rock gives us a little background on his A$AP Mob crew and the ideologies that they live off. An eclectic bunch no doubt, the A$AP mob has began to come into their own as they transition from wild, young artists to more groomed, professionals. From jumping into the crowd and fighting to world tours, the A$AP Mob has come a long way. Peep the 3rd part above and keep an eye out for the next episode.
